the North Node being Pisces and the South Node being Virgo.

The last time that the Nodes were in these two signs was from June 2006 till December 2007. If we look back at this period of history we see the US housing crisis, and the Hamas taking control of the Gaza strip. Twitter was launched in July 2006. It is hard to see any correlations in these other than the fact that anything founded while the Nodes were in Aries and Libra, and launched during the Pisces/Virgo period was likely to become viral.

In astrology, the lunar nodes are often depicted as dragons, which are symbols of power and transformation. And as the head of the dragon moves into Pisces, we can see a powerful transformation in spiritual circles, and in imagination. Movies, theatre, the arts, music, dance and water activities all become the focus on a world-wide level. The practicalities and logic of Virgo makes way for the imagination of Pisces. This can also have a flip side, a negative one. Pisces is the Zodiac Sign associated with escapism, and this can be challenging if not directed into positive pursuits. So, we are being called on to embrace the unknown and trust in a divine flow. We need to let go of logic and judgment, favouring compassion and inclusiveness.
